The lily is a simple flower that grows in muddy ponds. The big round leaves captured my imagination as was translated into a pair of cuff links and a ring. Its long stem, vein and texture were imprinted freely along the leaf, provides an opportunity to create each leaf with individual expression and a common identity. The colour play of yellow gold gives the impression as if the lily pad is floating in its natural environment with little diamonds signifying water droplets. The ring is complete with a little frog resting on top.
